Living History

Have you ever wandered through a city, a national park, a neighborhood and wonder what the history of that place might be? In fact, not just the history, but the multiple, layered, histories? Canadian artist Sarah Fuller and multimedia studio Moment Factory decided to bring the histories of Banff National Park and Rouge National Urban Park to life with a three day immersive event called ILLUMINATIONS: human/nature. Get a peek into the making of this beautiful art piece below.

Imagine history in school being taught like this; imagine learning the amazing textures of a place that might seem ordinary! If you’d like to learn more about the project, you can find get more information here.

Dancing Light

If you know us, you probably aren’t surprised that we love seeing projection mapping bringing art and magic to all kinds of different spaces. And it’s even less surprising then, that we got really excited about the way in which the San Francisco Ballet opened their 2019 season. You can use the link below to watch the video on Vimeo!

There’s something incredibly poetic about dancers being painted across the walls with dancing light, don’t you think?

Take a Leap!

Ever want to live the life of a daredevil with all of the adrenaline and none of the danger? We might just have a way for you to do that! The Evel Knievel Museum in Kansas wanted show visitors what it was like to be in the legendary risk-taker’s shoes.

We love that the immersive experience not only puts you in a 360 environment, but completes the experience by having you actually sit on a motorcycle. We don’t know about you, but our hearts would definitely be pounding after that!
