Imagine a world in which simply scanning a child’s face will allow doctors to know whether that child might have a rare disease. Well guess what? That world is a reality, thanks to Dr. Richard Palmer and the team at Cliniface, who have developed a 3D scan that measures the shape and growth of children’s faces to detect underlying rare conditions.
The team is hopeful that the technology will allow medical professionals to better treat Indigenous babies and children. We love the marriage of 3D tech and healthcare to create this amazing outcome! You can read more about the project here.
