As a people who often create games that kids are able to enjoy, we also love the idea of creating experiences that are able to be enjoyed by as many kids as possible. It always takes a little extra time to consider accessibility, but it’s worth it!
The team at Assocreation, an Austrian/American artist collective had accessibility in mind when they created iGYM, an augmented reality system designed to make sports more accessible for kids with disabilities.
Imagine not being able to play a game because using physical objects wasn’t easy for you, or a possibility at all. Now imagine getting the chance to enjoy that game with your friends with the help of AR technology! When we think of technology making the world better, this is the kind of thing that makes us incredibly happy!
